✨️TODAY is THE day for Talia and Bennett!! I met these two at the wedding of another incredibly sweet couple of mine. Emily and Dave, thank you for being friends with such precious humans 🙌 Seeing familiar faces and witnessing new chapters start within overlapping worlds is pretty cool.

Talia and Bennett emphasized the importance of documenting their loved ones since most are coming from out of town. It is a heartwarming thing to see all of your people in one place, just for you, and I can't wait for these two to experience this.

To date, we have shared pizza, stories, a happy hour, and talked about what it means to document the small and sentimental details of your life together outside of what you would expect from detail photos. These two even came to support my documentary work at my gallery show last fall at Flashpoint 😭

Lucy and Steven get married today!! I've been sitting on these gems from their engagement session last year. They did the sweetest thing and asked if we could incorporate a visit to see Lucy's grandparents. In my humble opinion, this is exactly how we should be thinking about what to do for engagement sessions. Yes, they are about the two of you, and they're also about what and who makes you, you. And about absolutely anything you want to celebrate and remember before the big day. Time moves quickly, and I'm so grateful for my couples who cherish these precious moments. Thank you for including me in such a special visit. See you both very soon!!

My very first friend in this life got married last fall!! 😭 It's difficult to put into words what an honor it is to witness a new chapter unfold for these two.

From sandboxes and action figures, basketball until the lights come on, through all of life's twists and turns, to celebrating who you are and all of your wins. Love you brother!! We got to see you marry your best friend. And I got the most precious sister!! 🙌🧡

Lucia & Adam are getting married TODAY!! Let's give them a little love here! These two are so down to earth and thoughtful. We went to DC for their engagement session and spent time in many meaningful places for them. The sun came out, and so did some of their friends to hang out and play yahtzee at a local dive. A truly fine adventure day. We'll be at George Peabody Library in Baltimore to celebrate them in just a few hours, see you two sooooon!!

Kicking off 2026 with some party photos, naturally.

Are you ready to see what other glorious moments happened in 2025? Because you and I have some catching up to do.

As has become tradition, I have a few wishes for all of us this year.

✨️ I wish for you to try that new thing you're afraid of

✨️ I wish for you to be surrounded by people who help you, love you

✨️I wish courage for those who need to cheer for themselves right now

✨️I wish acceptance in places where judgment used to live

✨️I wish growth in places where resistance was felt

✨️I wish for you to receive all that you give

✨️I wish for you to hold your hand out as often as you reach up

✨️I wish for you to hold that extended hand, as much as you might want to fight it

✨️ I wish the utmost silliness with those who love you

✨️ I wish for you to stay hydrated and do your stretches

✨️ I wish for you to find belonging, within yourself, with those you choose, and the tiny piece of earth you live on.

✨️ If you're feeling like you're being forged in fire, I wish for a ladybug to land on your hand every day and for the sun to never miss your face.

✨️ I wish many many many almost p*e yourself laughing moments

✨️ If you're planning your wedding, I wish for you to stay true to yourselves while you do it.

But most of all, 🎶I hope you DaaAaannnncee🎶 and I hope I get to be with you to photograph every second.

Wedding previews and engagement sessions galore are being sent out this month! Katherine and Colin are here to start your morning off right 🥹 From the beginning, it was apparent that these two wanted to create a day of bliss not only for themselves but for their family and friends too. Two truly beautiful people inside and out. Thank you both a million times over for welcoming us into a very special slice of life. It was a magical day to witness.
