When I pulled up to The Farm on Main for Madison and Mehdi’s day, my jaw literally dropped. The grounds were just beautiful AND they had horses, so I was sold. But truly, their venue had it all: large individual spaces to get ready, indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, and the most gorgeous modern barn for their reception. Truly one of the best venues I’ve ever worked at. Here are a some film slides that I just can’t get over from their day!

I’m such a big believer that we don’t need to have a set “portrait” time to take portraits. Example! When we arrived at Lilah for Zoe & Jack’s wedding, I encouraged them to explore their venue and details. Not only did this allow us to capture some lovely candids seeing the wonderful work of their vendors for the first time, but also made for some wonderful impromptu portraits.

I tried to choose 10, but it just wasn’t possible. 🫶

Lexi & Sam’s wedding was held on a family property, their friends and family wrote the most beautiful prayers & toasts, and the rain POURED immediately after their gorgeous ceremony. It was one of the most intentional days to date and the rain couldn’t stop us from having the most perfect night.

If I could wish one thing for future couples getting married it would be to shut out all the Pinterest boards, social media trends, and wedding guides to focus on what YOU want for your day. You can play board games, you can cut your own cake, you can make your own floral arrangements. If it makes you happy, make it a part of your day!

An East Passyunk love story! 🎯

I asked Dana & Leah what they loved to do in their neighborhood and the immediate answer was beer and darts at POPE (Pup on Passyunk East). It’s something specific and familiar like this that truly helps people feel relaxed in front of the camera. Plus they’ll be able to show their families the places they love and relationship grew for years to come.
