Every year, someone brings their pet to an oddities expo, and we’re never sure how another pet tintype could top it. But it happened again this year at the Philly Oddities & Curiosities Expo 🖤💪🐍 How incredible is this client and their snake?! We loved making this little family portrait and we hope we can make another one for you next year!

Introducing the “Sexy Victorians” ✨🗝️

We have a handful of sterling silver pendants, encasing vignettes of Victorian era tintypes, that were created as first steps in prototyping the designs you can now shop in our custom jewelry line. Though our final designs have evolved, each of these pendants deserves love and a new home💜 find a “Sexy Victorian” and wear them close to your heart.

These pendants are $160 each, with the exception of one or two that are a larger size. We’ll be bringing them this weekend to the Philadelphia and Richmond Oddities & Curiosities Expo to sell. If you see one that catches your eye and can’t make it to the event, reach out over DM✨

I’ve been photographing in Humboldt park since my grad school days at SAIC 20 years ago . Yesterday my ride or dies Madeleine Ivetta Primavera Bailey and Frances Allen Herrick lent so much hands and hearts on a magic tintype shoot / collab with 3 swans Fermelda Hyde • marissa • and Victoria. Thank you to all the wild woman energy that continues to make this making possible.

We were doing work at my family’s home this past week that has been ours for generations. In the back of the closet on the top floor of the house, we found some absolute treasures. The most exciting being a suitcase full of photographs that haven’t seen the light of day in decades. Some of these photos are of identifiable ancestors and many are a mystery.
