I feel transparency is so important for younger creatives. I could post this and act like I was hired to shoot for these guys. In all actuality, they have no idea I exist. However (story time), in 2017, I saw them in Philly and at the time all I wanted was to be a touring videographer/photographer. I couldn’t bring a camera in, so I ran around the venue with my iPhone grabbing as much as I could lol. Fast forward 7 years later, and I now tour as a photographer/videographer full time. And my homie happened to be playing right before them at the same festival. So I grabbed a few flicks of her being an absolute rock star. And this time around, now with a few years of experience under my belt, I was able to properly get some shots during their set. In moments like this, it makes you grateful for the journey. It also makes me excited for the next 7 years.

The irony of being a photographer is that you never have photos of yourself hahah. So I threw my camera on a tripod this morning and decided it had been long enough. Disclaimer: there’s nothing in that cup. ☕️

I started touring pretty consistently in the last year, and I’ve been having some of the most fun I’ve ever had. That being said, I’m quickly learning the best tips and tricks for life on the road. One of the most important being the art of packing and living out of suitcases.

On my first couple of tours, I had a tendency to overpack, and I found myself lugging large suitcases in and out of a bus everyday (not ideal lol). So before my last tour, I set out to find the perfect travel bag. Something that was big enough to fit a few days of clothes to avoid having to always dive in my suitcase, but also compact enough to fit easy in many places. And if it looked good that was a plus haha.

Well & I teamed up right between tours and they sent me their travel bag and shoe cube and this bag checked all the boxes. I was consistently mind blown with how many clothes I could fit into this bag. I was so hype with many different compartments it had so that I could sort out dirty clothes and accessories. And I was so grateful for how easy it was to carry in and out of every venue, hotel, and gym on the road. And let’s be honest it looks pretty damn cool lol.

For anyone who travels quite and bit and is looking for something sturdy and reliable, I’m highly recommending it.

I used to refrain from calling myself a “photographer” for years. I knew I loved taking photos and editing, but I felt like there was qualification to calling myself one that I didn’t have or felt like I deserved. It’s funny though, because over the last year I’ve been thrown into wonderful opportunities and now it’s what I do everyday. I stopped being concerned with the label of “being a photographer” and just was. anyway, deep s**t aside. here are some of my favorite shots from my travels recently. what a sick job to be able to capture these moments. 📷
