it’s been a minute… (2 years to be exact)…

was reminded recently of how precious each day is. why do i feel like I’m just going through the motions? how have the months flown by and leaving me to think “what the absolute $&@!! ??”.

you too? well, i’m tired of not doing the things I’m curious or passionate about because it’s “not perfect” or “not the right time.”

to hell with that!

which is why i am extremely excited to being back this little hobby of mine; Emma Ann Photo.

excited to start doing this again because i love it. not because i need to get good at something new. not because i want to make a little extra $$ (although it is fun that you can monetize a hobby…). not because I’m trying to define my purpose. genuinely because i want to explore my creative side and do something that sparks joy.

THAT is what it’s all about.

It’s been a minute….

Sometimes you need to step away to be able to come back more passionate than before.

I’ve never taken myself 100% seriously when it comes to photography. I never believed I had what it took to create art. I see all these amazing photographers doing their thing day in and day out… so why can’t that be me?

I met a lovely women at a work conference in NYC last week who reminded me that our passions will always have highs and lows. The priorities of life sometimes comes first. Sometimes our motivation just isn’t there. But at the end of the day, we’ll always find our way back.

I’m really excited to spend more time with this passion of mine, especially going into the holiday season.

Thank you to all who have supported me thus far. I am so ready to capture some more memories in the very near future. 📸💛
