Around 21:44 Companies 56, 58, 35, 34, RIT 53 as well as Mic 108 were dispatched to 1305 West Chester Pike (ACME SUPERMARKET) for a reported Commercial Building Fire. Chief 56 arrived on location and had a one story commercial building nothing evident. Engine 56 and Ladder 35 arrived and went in to investigate. Crews found a burnt up motor in the celling and secured the power to ensure the fire was out and did not spread. Chief 56 then held the assignment to Haverford Township units. Units went available shortly after.

Upper Darby Squad 26 was added from Assistant Chief 56A for collapse response but they were held in station from UDFD Car 3 til he arrived on location and advised.

Around 18:50 companies 56,38 and 108 were dispatched to West Chester Pike and Eagle Road for an Accident with possible entrapment. Deputy 56 arrived on location and found a SUV up in the air between a semi truck and a septa bus. Deputy 56 assumed command and requested for UDFD Highland Park Squad 26 due to heavy entrapment. Crews made quick and safe work getting the victim out of the vehicle so medic could transport. At this time the incident is under investigation with haverford township police.

Around 15:20 companies 58, 56, 38 and Mic 108 were dispatched to Burmont Road and Steel Road for an Accident with Possible Entrapment. Deputy 58 arrived at Burmont and Steel and had no Accident. PD and Deputy 58 check the area and found the accident was at Stump Lane and Burmont Road. Deputy 58 confirmed that there was 1 patient trapped in the vehicle. Rescue 56 and Squad 58 arrived on location and Rescue 56’s crew started the extraction while Squad 58’s crew pulled a standby hand line. Crews completed the extraction and the patient was transported to the near by hospital.
