Virginia and 4 generations of her beautiful family 🤍

When Virginia was going to have her whole family together for the first time in years a friend told her she HAS to take advantage of the moment and have a family portrait session, then they called me.
•
Virginia welcomed me into her home, couldn’t have been sweeter and even showed me some of her most precious heirlooms, family photographs. Two of which were four generations portraits one of her as a child and one of her husband as a child. This session was a beautiful reminder of the power of photography and the stories and legacy it allows us to leave behind.

Last but not least, Halloween 2023, the theme !

Gloria Lambert once again did an outstanding job with makeup, hair, and costume styling! She did it all! And the girls were so excited to help style all the props, everything you see setup was done by them!

The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all time favorite movies and has been since it came out when I was a kid. I could not wait to collaborate with Gloria for this theme! And this was my very first photo session after having my baby so this was extra special!

Happy Halloween! I’m still flashing back to some of my favorite Halloween portrait collaborations with Gloria Lambert and her beautiful girls! It’s Halloween 2022 and the theme was witches!

From conception to creation this portrait session was fantastic! The girls were so happy to play their part and really got into character! And as you can see, Gloria stuns as a commanding and powerful witch!🪄🔮🧹🐈‍⬛

I’d say this was the biggest “production” of all 5 of our Halloween portrait collaborations. We are still very proud of these images! We had the most props and a lot of our prop and costume pieces were handmade. I made the witches hat and large broomsticks. Gloria is wearing some of my grandmothers antique Rosary’s and other witch themed jewelry she sourced. Hair and makeup and costume styling all by Gloria.

Another flashback to Halloween 2021! The theme was , the movie had come out that summer, and we had the cutest Dalmatians!

Forever obsessed! The Cruella theme was so fun from the styling to the setting in the downtown Petaluma alleyways. Gloria Lambert brought the attitude and spirit of Cruella that day!

The first Halloween themed portrait session with Gloria Lambert and her family! Even though we were entrenched in early pandemic challenges at that time we were determined to celebrate the holiday and have fun (safely)!

Time to reveal the 2024 Halloween Portraits for Gloria and her family!

🌺Lilo & Stitch🌺

2024 marks 5 years of Halloween portraits with Gloria and her family! We look forward to this every year and often start talking theme in the summer. This years theme was most modest to date in terms of costume, props and makeup but the girls fully embodied their characters and once again delivered!

We had so much fun this year and were already planning for 2025! Thank you Gloria Lambert for inviting me to create these photos with you and the girls every year! It’s one of my favorite things! Love you!
