I still remember photographing this baby's sweet big brother when he was a newborn himself. Now here he is, proudly stepping into his newest role. Watching him love on his baby sister was such a full-circle moment.

One of the greatest gifts of this job is getting to witness a family's story unfold over the years. I first met this sweet family when they were a family of two. Then came baby number one, and now, watching them embrace life as a family of four fills my heart in ways that are hard to put into words. Being invited back to capture these milestones is something I never take for granted. Thank you for trusting me with your memories, your growing family, and these fleeting moments that will someday feel like a blink.

I've been sitting here tonight thinking about how much my little guy has grown in the last two years-- and while I absolutely love love love getting witness every stage of his life, tonight I am missing his teeny tiny phase. The smallness of the newborn stage is just miraculous-- and I'm beyond grateful that I can look back at photos of him and sort of transport myself there for a few minutes. All of this made me think-- I hope that my clients can look back at all the photos I've taken over the years of their babies and just breathe in those memories a little bit. Please remember their tiny hands and feet, the weight of their little bodies, and their tiny little features (that have now morphed into their toddler faces).
