I'm just your everyday mom of two grown boys who enjoys all things outdoors from camping & fishing to horseback riding & hiking. My two passions in life are my love for animals which has motivated me to spend the majority of my career helping them in the veterinary field as a vet tech, to currently running my own business as a mobile in-home dog groomer. Then there's photography. For as long as I
can remember I have always been fascinated by the beauty of the world around us from the gorgeous landscapes to an endearing moment between two people. Being a very passionate, creative person I feel fortunate to be able to capture that beauty through my camera lens, to create a moment in time that I can go back to & remember exactly how I felt, what I was thinking at that time, and what inspired me to capture it in a photo. That feeling for me can only be described as a deeply moving experience. When I am behind the camera, its as if everything around me disappears & the only thing that matters is what I see through my viewfinder. In that moment my only thought, my sole purpose, is to capture the beauty & feeling it gives me, forever frozen in time. That being said, my favorite style is to capture the bond between a person & their pet, their personality, & what makes that bond so special. For me personally, photography isn't about pressing the shutter button just to get a quick snapshot, anyone with a camera can do that. It's about capturing the expressions & feelings present in that special moment, you know, the ones that really tug at your heartstrings. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, well, to me the perfect picture is the one that touches your heart so deeply that words simply cannot express how it makes you feel.
