the answer is yes.
I have enjoyed sharing stories with you all over the summer and can't wait to continue doing so this Fall.

I can't wait to share what the Lord has been doing and what he continues to do in this new season of life.

I have gotten quite a few fall inquiries for families, seniors, and weddings so don't delay! I will be taking a limited amount of sessions and elopements so that I can properly care for my clients the way they deserve - with luxury.

ECSTATIC. GRATEFUL. RENEWED.

I cannot believe it. I have entered many comps for photographers without a win over and over again. BUT GOD..

See I have been contemplating quitting this dream, leaving it behind and moving on. It has kept my family fed and my dreams alive but this season has been dry. I am not going to sugarcoat things to make it seem perfect. That's not what testimony does.

A few months ago at the very last minute (literally the deadline closed that day), I entered 3 photos into this competition because "why not". I actually had entered before with the same photos/album and didn't win but that's because it wouldn't have been as important to me as this WIN. And God knew that...

But today I woke up to an email that stated I had won. I won an award that fewer than 7% of entries win. We're talking hundreds of entries with multiple photos you guys. This isn't just an award and publicity, it's confirmation, it's a push, it's a warm hug that HE sent just at the right time.

I once had a client that mentioned they didn't want to book their wedding because I didn't have awards, I wasn't published, or I wasn't "big" enough but don't you know that God uses even the smallest of small?!

I'm not sure where the road will lead me, but I will follow where he says to go.

Hey, it's me
..and yes I have been quiet. It's been a season of waiting, a season of renewal, and a season of tuning my ears & aligning my heart with the Lord.

I'm not sure where this photography journey will take me beyond this season, but I pray that everything I do glorifies the Lord's name.

It's easy as a business owner to try and be silenced of our beliefs....we're meant to provide for everyone but ya know what....not everyone will be a client. I hope you join me along the way and find peace and share joy in this corner of the internet.
