Gotta give it up for this bridal party!

Charlotte Cai and LouisC had their best people with them.

Gardens of Woodstock is a remarkable place for a wedding. Located just outside of Chicago they have thought of everything. From the spacious naturally lit bridal suite to the dedicated area for cocktail hour. The grounds are meticulously maintained and offer so many locations for photos all within a short walk. The tent for reception was just right as well!

Thanks Lexee for helping it all come together.

If you are getting married and looking for a place - Gardens of Woodstock should be on your list. And if you are looking for a photographer or videographer - I'm your guy!

Gardens of Woodstock was the most perfect place for these two to come together! Amazing dancing, food trucks and a lot of laughs made the evening a delight!!

Not every wedding is a big production.

Some couples just want to be together forever and a simple service is all that is needed.

Sometimes it is a coffee run and the steps of Lincoln Hall.

This Saturday, it all comes home.

Forty-five years ago, it started as a slightly crazy idea between friends.

They turned an impossible idea into a lasting one: ride down to Memphis, and run the 465 miles back to Peoria on foot.

All these years later, what began with a handful of friends is now thousands of runners, from the Memphis team to the satellite runs setting out from communities all across Illinois and Missouri. Teachers, retirees, first responders, parents, kids, and St. Jude survivors who were once patients themselves. They run so that families never see a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

But the miles were never really the point. The point is the survivor lacing up because St. Jude gave them the years to be able to. It is a whole region of people who decided, again and again for 45 years, that this was worth the heat and the sleepless nights.

Come be there when they arrive. This Saturday afternoon, the runners cross the Bob Michel Bridge and come in together for the Runners’ Parade at 5 p.m. at the Peoria Civic Center, right before the St. Jude Telethon. Bring your family, line the route, and cheer until you lose your voice. Ask any runner and they will tell you the same thing: the last few steps are the sweetest when the whole city is there to meet them.

Tag a friend who’s running this year!

One day, this won’t just be the place where you got married. It’ll be your place. 🤍

The place where you said your vows. Where your favorite people gathered. Where you danced, laughed, celebrated and officially started your forever.

And years from now, you’ll drive by Mistwood and think, that’s where it all began.

The start of forever looks pretty good from here. ✨

Some numbers stop you in your tracks. Last year, the St. Jude Runs raised almost $6 million to help treat childhood cancer and fund the research that’s changing what a diagnosis means for families everywhere.

This year is a milestone for me and Lydia too. For the first time, our team is making the trip to Memphis alongside the runners, to capture the start of the run.

Covering this event is a highlight of our year, every year. We can’t wait to share what 2026 has in store. 🏃‍♂️❤️

If your grid still looks like a mess because you posted things out of order, this fixes it. Long press any post, tap “Reorder grid,” and Instagram opens a screen where you can drag your posts into whatever order you actually want. It saves automatically. Pinned posts stay locked at the top so those won’t move, and this only touches your main grid, not your Reels tab, not your feed ranking, not your engagement. It just makes your profile finally look like you planned it. Go clean yours up before your next shoot goes live. 📸
