If there was ever a perfect example of rolling with whatever weather you get on wedding day - this is it. One of the rainiest days of the year, an outdoor ceremony set up, and two people determined to say I do after so many years of showing up for eachother.I know that because Iā€™ve watched it since I was a teen.

They waited a long time to celebrate their love story, and just like their journey to the day - sometimes things just get thrown your way.
Was a Ramada in the plans when Watson lake was steps away, no. Did everyone pitch in and move and dry the chairs when doing ceremony outside became unsafe, yes.
And did these two amazing people pivot one last time to promise forever - they certainly did.

Itā€™s not always the plan you envisioned, but donā€™t be afraid to get married on a rainy day. Some of the best photos come after the storm.

Im so thankful to have had a front row seat to your love story all these years and to be your second daughter by choice Jennifer Wilhite + Todd šŸ¤

Thereā€™s something so special about being asked to document a family as it grows. šŸ„¹

You show up thinking youā€™re capturing a sweet little family session, and then they pull out a ā€œbig brotherā€ shirt and suddenly you get to be part of one of the biggest secrets theyā€™ve been keeping.

Getting trusted with moments like this will never feel like ā€œjust another sessionā€ to me. These are the photos that mark the beginning of a whole new chapter- the last photos as a family of three, the excitement of whatā€™s coming, and one very cute little guy getting promoted to BIG BROTHER. šŸ„¹
So incredibly grateful I get to document the big moments, the little moments, and all the in-between ones that make up a familyā€™s story.
And seriously, look at that little face. He has no idea how much his world is about to change. šŸ¤
