Oh my heart… this one gets me. I love this girl and her family so much. Somehow she’s already a senior, and I’ve been taking her photos since she was just a little girl.

There is something so special about getting to watch my families grow up right in front of me. I feel all the emotions right alongside mom and dad as these kids change and become who they’re meant to be.

Im loving these cawliflower fields with and her family. I’ve been photographing them since their wedding and it’s warms my heart to continue capturing all their precious milestones. I’m so happy to be serving all my clients again this year! There is nothing better. ❤️

Excited to be back behind the lens this year, in a much more intentional way. Grateful for the chance to capture moments like these with amazing people. 📸 I’m loving every creative second and I missed being behind the lens.

This year, I’m all about balance—prioritizing family, health, and doing photography in a way that makes me happy and serves my clients better. Fewer sessions, more quality, and a renewed focus on the art. ✨ It’s about creating meaningful work, staying connected, and being present for both my clients and myself.

Taking a year off healed so many parts of me, and I’m feeling so good. Protecting my sanity, health and happiness is now my biggest priority. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to slow down, grow, and recover to show up in the world as a better me.

I was so excited to photograph my brother- and sister-in-law’s family tonight. Shooting out on the farm is one of my favorite locations, and the cauliflower fields were in full bloom—bright yellow everywhere. 🌼

When I left for the session, the skies looked happy and the sun was warm. By the time I got there, a small storm had started to roll through. It began to sprinkle and a cool breeze picked up, but this family were total troopers and stuck it out. 🌧️

And they were rewarded with the most gorgeous sunset. 🌅

I also tried a scroll collage for the first time with this session. What do you think? They’re definitely harder to put together than they look!

It feels really good to be back behind the camera this year, even if it’s in a much more limited way than years past. Slowing things down has brought a better balance between family life and work, and I’m really grateful for that.

I’ve been photographing this family for years, and seeing him as a senior now is such a reminder of how quickly time passes. Watching kids grow up through my lens is always special—but it’s also the reminder I need not to miss these years with my own. They go by way too fast. 🎓

Happy 20th to my oldest niece Lana! You are making us feel old around here but we have loved watching you grow up into an amazing talented, smart, beautiful young woman! We love you so much! I saw while I was out shooting tonight and it was so nice to see her face out in the wild. I have referred her to many over the past year while I was on hiatus. It was nice being at this location after not visiting it for a year. And wow was is green and beautiful!

I had the hardest time narrowing down my favorites from this session—there were just too many moments I loved! This family is so incredible, and it’s even more special because my daughters are friends with theirs. Capturing these memories for friends like them is such a joy. Grateful for the chance to freeze these moments in time!
