Franklin Jonas and the Byzantines at Ogden Theater 4/3 in Denver, CO

do! not! sleep!! on Franklin Jonas and the Byzantines!!! I have loved their music since I first heard their unique, folk-rock sound, but their HIGH energy performance on stage (and in the audience… and on the balcony railings…) is absolutely unmatched! Very excited to continue supporting !!

hey there friends, family, clients, bands, silent followers, secret admirers, bots, fellow photographers, etc, etc…. long time no see!!

it’s me Hannah! the face behind the lens of Life is Sweet Photography! I figured it’s time for an updated intro along with some exciting announcements!

first of all… I MOVED TO DENVER, CO!! which means LISP is coming right along with me!

as you may have noticed… I have shifted my photography focus quite a bit to concert and event photography. although I am not completely stopping weddings, portraits, etc., my goal is to continue pursuing shooting live music and you will notice more changes as that continues! I have taken some time off to pursue some other dreams, but am SO excited to dive head first back into my forever passion here in Colorado!

now… a little bit about me!!

-I began this little business back in 2020 while I was a student at NAU!
-I loooooove a trivia night! I may not be very good… but I do love it!
-My favorite band of all time is The Maine and they were introduced to me by best friend!! A close second is the Jonas Brothers and… no… I was not there when they performed together and it will forever haunt me
-i just officially became a child life specialist and LOVE my job! who said you can’t pursue two dreams at once?
-I’m the most indecisive person you’ll ever meet… ice cream shops with a million options are my worst nightmare (even though I always go with cherry or pistachio)
-I was obsessed with the sparkle ✨ emoji before AI ruined it
-my drink of choice is usually an iced tea, just a little sweet!
-I’m a huge sucker for a pretty sunset and spending time outdoors!

If you just followed me or have been here since the beginning or found me somewhere along the way, thank you 💛 photography brings me so much joy and I can’t wait for the adventures ahead!

Oh 2025…

Although 2025 didn’t hold as many shoots as previous years as I spent some time focusing on other dreams and had to put photography on hold for a second, it sure was also filled with some of my most memorable moments to date and I couldn’t be more thankful for all of the INSANE opportunities throughout this year. I got to capture my favorite band on stage, be in the photo pit for a festival I only thought was possible in my dreams, did work for a radio station I’ve been listening to for YEARS, documented milestones for the sweetest seniors, captured the love stories of the most amazing couples, met so many new photography friends, and so much more. This year was truly about quality over quantity and will go down as one of my favorite photography years to date!

If you trusted me to capture any of your special moments this year, thank you. I absolutely cannot wait for all 2026 has in store…. keep an eye out for some exciting announcements as big changes are coming!

In the meantime, enjoy a very small few of my favorite shots from the past year!

Innings Fest () Day 2 recap!

Incredibly grateful for this insane opportunity! Some of the biggest bands on some of the biggest stages (literally and figuratively) in AZ! If I’m being honest with you all… the imposter syndrome was REAL at this one. This was the most nervous I’ve been leading up to and at a show, but ultimately had such an incredible time and met so many awesome and TALENTED photographers. Very excited for more opportunities like this one and continuing to grow and learn 💛
