And then suddenly, it’s a packed dance floor with the best energy and chaos!!
All of it, every pace, every different type of moment and energy is what makes their story. And I really love getting to hold onto that for people.

This song played while I edited their session and tears were shed 🥲 I've photographed their engagement session, their wedding, and now this!! There is nothing sweeter than documenting your legacy and the moments that make up your life. Truly such a surreal thing that I get to document all of these moments that make up your life and build relationships with you guys.

Of course this career is necessary to pay my bills, but there is so much more to it for me. Photographing human connection, your genuine love, and your lives changing, is something I don't think i can live without. 🤍

Some days it feels strange to show up here and post for work while the world feels heavy. I go back and forth between knowing I still need to provide for my family and feeling heartbroken for the kind of world my kids are growing up in. Im trying to learn how to balance and function with both of those things existing at the same time. The gratitude and the grief, the beauty and the hard reality.

I don’t think everything is okay right now, and I don’t want to pretend that it is. But I do believe that connection still matters. The way you hold your babies a little tighter, the way couples look at each other during quiet moments, the way families choose to pick themselves up time and time again. Those are the things that keep me grounded.

So I’ll keep showing up here the best that I can. Honestly, imperfectly, and with gratitude for all of you. I’ll keep photographing the people and moments that remind me why connection matters so much 🤍
