I love this weekend. I love everything about it.

It’s hot and loud and crowded, which is everything I typically shy away from, but on this weekend, I find it all so uniting and inspiring.

There’s something really wonderful about being part of a community event like this, with so many people coming together over a shared love for aviation and our Blue Angels.

Pensacola always looks her best like this. 💙💛🇺🇸

Second day of the Pensacola Beach Air Show and it was a good one. It was hot, the beach was packed, and everyone was having a really great time. Can't wait to do it all again tomorrow.

🏖️Heading to the beach this week to catch the Blues?

🚫Remember: Flying drones or kites during the air show is strictly prohibited. Please help keep everyone safe and the show running smoothly by following all drone rules and guidelines.

🪁Once aircraft demonstrations begin, ALL drones and kites must be grounded until the U.S. Navy Blue Angels have completed their performance. This also includes the civilian flight demonstrations.

⚠️IMPORTANT: Any drone detected within a five-mile radius of the restricted flight zone will result in an immediate pause of the air show until the airspace is clear.

Next week is one of the best weeks of the year, and just about everyone in Pensacola knows exactly what I mean. The whole city seems to pack up and move to the beach for the Pensacola Beach Air Show featuring our beloved Blue Angels.

I’m not going to lie. I think I’m looking forward to this year’s show even more than usual. The country can feel pretty divided right now, and sometimes it seems like there’s more focus on what separates us than what brings us together. But next week, I think we’ll be reminded of how much we all have in common.

There’s something magical about watching the Blue Angels fly over our sugar white beach and emerald green Gulf. I am filled with gratitude, pride, and a deep appreciation for this country and for the people who serve it. For a few days, thousands and thousands of us will stand on the beach together and share in that same sense of awe and wonder.

We’re made of good American stuff. And next week, I think we’ll remember. 💙💛🇺🇸
