If you know Mikaela, you know sunshine. Mik is the girl who doesn’t know a stranger, and leaves everyone (and everything) better than she found them.

Caitlyn reached out to me a while ago wanting to propose to Mikaela, but wanted to make sure it was as special as the girl she loved. There’s just a little problem: Mik is a photographer, and she’ll sniff out her own proposal the second you get her into a gorgeous venue in a cute dress. I may or may not have had to lie to Mik (sorry, not sorry) and hire her to help me shoot a fake couple’s proposal at Bellingrath Gardens & Home. If we’re there early we may as well sneak in some cute branding photos while we wait for them, right? Except that was the moment Caitlyn came around the corner, perfectly timed by the coordinators at Bellingrath Gardens & Home (thank you again Kristen & Rebecca).
