What I would give to go back to Colorado and explore the outdoors. John and Morgan got back in their wedding attire and we hiked all over the place at Garden of the gods. It was truly breathtaking.

A note to current and future brides,

I 100% recommend asking your florist or bringing a few extra flowers so we can be more creative in your detail photos! I think it makes them more unique to you and your day and a touch of elegance. And just so you know, I always send a list of items you can include in your detail photos before your wedding day so that way you don’t have to scramble finding them!

Tip: finding a shoebox to put everything in and designating a person to take care of it is so helpful!! It is a small detail but can add to the smoothness of your day and allow you to relax and enjoy the getting ready process!

Nathan + Annika!!!!

Literally teared up when I was taking some of these photos!! Annika was the first person that I met at A&M and it was such a joy being apart of their day!! Here are a few of my favorites but I have a lot more that you will be seeing!!

📸 Do you count the photographer as a wedding guest?​​​​​​​​​

Your photographer as well as other vendors should be counted as guests for your meal count! Usually we are working anywhere between 6-10 hours, and some vendors even longer than that. So having a meal there for us is very important and much appreciated!!

So when thinking about who you need to provide meals for it will be..
⁂ Coordinator
⁂ DJ
⁂ Photographer/Videographer (& second shooters)
⁂ Bartender
⁂ Venue Manager
⁂ Possibly Photo Booth attendant + any additional vendors you could have

Be sure to check the contract too, because most of the time they will say a meal needs to be included for them!

Some photos around Barr Mansion + a day that I was very thankful for. ​​​​​​​​​

When you choose a venue there is a lot of excitement around it. That is the place you are getting married!! So even capturing photos of the location itself is so important, that way you can look back and enjoy even the smallest of details like a few leaves scattered on the ground.
