Who else read "The Secret Garden", by Frances Hodgson Burnett as a kid and dreamt of having their own secret garden one day? That's why I added this garden door prop to the garden studio last year. I just love the whimsical touch. It's used as a portrait prop throughout the year, and when it gets cool outside, it's transformed to a country Christmas backdrop.

Senior portrait season is in full swing, so I'll start showing you some of this year's seniors! Matthew is a tennis player for PYA, and is looking forward to a future as a dessert chef. We did his senior portrait session at the commercial kitchen at Milly's Pantry, the tennis courts at the Boat Launch Park (because the PYA courts were ripped up at the time of his session), and at my garden studio.

The Chwatek family visited last fall and called on me for family portraits at the beautiful Climbing Bines, overlooking Seneca Lake. I love that the sisters got to wear matching dresses. How cute!
