We haven’t posted in a while due to life and what’s going on around us, but this story hits really close to home. Over the last week I spent a lot of time at his bed side and with his family. I’m total devastated as Trenton was at the top of his world living his best life when tragedy struck. Trenton will be off work for a very long time and will need extensive rehab. Today we had a special guest drop by the fire station. The Grass Valley Firefighters were happy to train with Santa to prepare him for some of the challenges he may face out there on his big day. He learned about vertical ventilation (making holes in roof tops) and he learned the skills of hose handling for fire extinguishment. We are happy to report that Santa passed with flying colors and will soon be on his way to deliver all the gifts to the children of the world and will be able to do it safely. Happy Holidays!!!! Weddings at Taber are always incredible, but I love how different the feel is from the spring to the fall. This was an early spring wedding and the weather was amazing and as you can see in the pic up on the hill we had an amazing sky to play with. Hannah and Isaiah were so much fun to work with and their love for one another was so much fun to witness. I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your day.

Some how I missed posting this from this spring. This was an amazing spring day for a wedding. Stephanie and Ryan were so much fun to work with, as are many of the couples we are lucky to be selected to capture their days. The weather was fantastic for these two and the venue was simply amazing. The lighting was incredible it had such a warm feeling for an early spring day. The wedding was simple, yet elegant, the couple so classy. It was fun to play with the setting that they chose. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of their day. Funny side note The groom grew up literally right around the corner from my wife in a suburb of San Diego and we ended up working together some 600 ish mile away from where they grew up. I guess it really is a small world sometimes.

Here is a behind the scene look at what a photographer can do to creat an image. This was all done in the camera and no editing was done to the final image. The image in the right was taken just before the groom stepped in and with some off camera flash and the proper crop the image on the left was created. Spent the weekend in San Diego for an engagement session, with a September wedding couple. Most of the weekend was spent learning a new editing software since Apple was so kind to stop updating the one I know 😔 couldn't have happened at a worse time as I have lots of patiently waiting couples. But I did get to take a break last night and play at the beach at sun set photos. Are from the back of the camera.
