A little bit about myself and my services: I am a wife to my AWESOME husband of 20 years and a stay at home mom to our 6 WONDERFUL children ranging in ages 3 years to 18 years old. We live in Penn Lake Park Borough, which is centrally located between White Haven, Bear Creek and Mountain Top, PA. From little on I was always fascinated with cameras and the creative processes created between the pho
tographer and the camera…my definition of MAGIC! In my high school & college days, I worked for Whitewater Challengers in Weatherly, PA taking photographs of the people rafting down the Lehigh River. Not only did this job entail just the point and shoot aspect of photography, but also the developing of film strips as well as the printing process using chemicals and old school huge roller printers from the dinosaur ages. During my college years while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Penn State University, Whitewater Challengers decided to innovate by moving up with the rest of the world by going ALL DIGITAL! For me this meant more time behind the camera and less time developing and processing. Fast forward a few years later…I graduated college and worked at 2 jobs that I really did not enjoy; instead, I looked forward to the times I was able to spend behind the lenses of my cameras, both my old school 35mm camera as well as my newer DSLR camera…basically the fancy letters and word for a digital camera. Along with caring for and raising our 6 children taking snapshots is my passion; MY 2 things that I absolutely LOVE TO DO. Upon having my 2 youngest children I decided to start becoming more and more serious about starting up my own photography studio to include using different editing software. I currently incorporate 2 different software programs to help edit my creative works to give my photos the absolute BEST look and feel to not only make my clients SMILE, but to make my client's family members SMILE as well. Now that you know a little bit about me and my passions in life…I’m interested in finding out about the memories you are interested in creating. In order to better serve you and your loved ones, below are some questions to help me gather the information I NEED to effectively WORK FOR YOU:
1. Number of people in your photography session as well as the type of photography session. ie: A family of 7 with a group shot of everyone followed by all 5 children together as well as all 5 children individually. Senior portraits, toddlers, child(ren), baby SMILEstones, family, etc.
2. ALMOST forgot about our furry friends...any pets going to be photographed?
3. Are you looking for formal photos, which include backdrops &/or props OR are you looking for au naturale outdoor photos?
4. If you are looking for outdoor photos, is there any specific locations that are especially important. Any outfit/clothing changes…if so, how many and for whom? My photography sessions include 3 separate parts:
1. the actual photo taking (approximately 1-2 hours depending on # of people, pets, locations, outfit changes, etc).
2. the editing process using 2 of the most innovative editing software programs available and
3. supplying a disk of approximately 30 (give or take) high resolution images in which I will give you full rights to use, copy, print, post on social media sites, etc. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the many different options during the printing process I choose to sign off on my photos allowing you to have the photos printed/used by yourself at your discretion...basically you own the photos and can use them however, when ever and where ever. If you need help in choosing a printer and/or help with the many different printing options I would be more than happy to answer any and all of your questions via email and/or telephone.
