Some of my favorite moments from Easton's Heritage Day happened inside the George Taylor House.

Visitors and historical interpreters moved from room to room and shared stories behind one of Easton's oldest homes. Home to George Taylor, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, this home offers connection to one of the men who helped shaped the nation's founding.

Easton's Heritage Day once again brings history to the city.

I got to see visitors spend the day interacting with historical interpreters, watching traditional trades in action, and enjoy live music. Most importantly, people had the opportunity to explore the stories that tie our nations history to Easton.

History takes a stop in the Poconos this weekend.

The Moving Wall brought a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to Stroudsburg.

Throughout the day, visitors quietly walked the panels, searching for names. Some came looking for a family member, a friend, or someone they once served with. Others simply stopped to reflect.

While photographing the memorial, I spoke with a Vietnam veteran who shared that The Moving Wall travels the country with the help of local volunteers. Here in Stroudsburg, volunteers like the Stroudsburg High School football team and local Boy Scouts, helped put together the memorial, making this tribute possible for the community.

While the kilns stand as reminders of Coplay’s industrial past, today they’ve become part of the community in a different way. Surrounded by parks, gatherings, and everyday moments, the structures now serve less as symbols of production, and more as a backdrop to the life still happening around them.

The towering Kilns of Coplay are more than abandoned industrial structures, they’re layered with history, texture, and marks of time. From crumbling brickwork to the scale of what was once a means of cement production, every angle reveals part of the story these structures still carry.

While the larger monuments at Columcille Megalith Park naturally stand out, I found myself drawn to the more human elements. The worn pathways, weathered textures, and hand-placed stones were just as engaging to photograph.

Built in the 1970s into the hills above Bangor, Columcille Megalith Park is a place for reflection. It's inspired by Celtic stone sites and feels less like a park and more like stepping into a dream carved by rock. The morning light moved quietly through the pathways, revealed the texture of structures and showed a place built for stillness and meditation.

An Easton icon is gone.

The Dixie Cup that stood over the former Dixie Cup Factory for decades was removed this morning.

Crowds gathered as the landmark came down, marking the end of a familiar piece of the city’s skyline.
