Oh Adalee you are such a sweet baby - so peaceful and laid back. This newborn session went incredibly smooth thanks to a patient and kind mother. Thanks Courtney for bringing me your second little one to photograph too. She looks like her big brother but doesn't seem to act like him. I love being your family's photog! What a treat! I sure am blessed!

Boy am I ever glad I said "Yes!" to a photo opportunity right before I left for vacation. Not only were these kids fun to photograph they were great to watch! Very talented athletes! Thanks Melissa Stewart for referring me! I truly appreciate it and I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek.

I love following my clients through the years. I photographed this family for the first time when this beautiful mom was pregnant with her youngest and she didn't even know it yet. lol

At the end of the summer I had the pleasure and honor of photographing a real mermaid from the Kansas City Renaissance Festival. Thanks to a little scuba gear and some underwater camera equipment we even got to shoot a few in her natural element.

Flipping through pics from my fall family sessions and I found this one. I'm pretty sure I've shared it before but I just had to share it again. It captures so much of what childhood is like. This little girl was proud of herself for climbing on top of the round hay bales and she celebrated by running down the long row of bales. I snapped my shutter at just the right moment as she passed in front of me and the sun was setting right behind her. Obviously it became an instant fave for me!
