Happy October 1st from my two favorite spooky kids! 🖤🎃

Little did I know that our love for spooky season would eventually turn into something so special that I'd get to share it with so many other families too!

What started as something we just loved doing every Halloween has become some of my favorite sessions to photograph! 🖤

Paid Stranger Sessions 🤍

The first round of Stranger Sessions has been coming together behind the scenes, and while I’m working on those pairings and getting those sessions planned, I wanted to go ahead and get the application up and running for the next round!

This round will be a little different. Applying is completely free. I’ll review applications and look for people who could make an interesting pairing based on personalities, interests, comfort levels, boundaries, what you’re looking for, and more.

If I find a pairing that could make for an interesting session, I’ll reach out to both people privately. If you both agree to the pairing and want to move forward, the session will be $75 per person + applicable sales tax.

Sessions will be approximately 30–40 minutes and include a full edited gallery of the best images from your session. I’m not putting a strict photo count on these because I’d rather give you the good stuff than make you worry about hitting a certain number. 🤍

Stranger Sessions aren’t necessarily about dating. You could be paired for a completely platonic experience, a potential romantic connection, or simply an opportunity to meet someone new and create something together.

There is no fee to apply, and applying does not guarantee that you’ll be selected or matched.

I’ll be keeping the application open for a while, so if you’ve been curious about trying one, go ahead and apply. 👀🤍

👀 I’m trying something a little different at Jenna Marie Photography…

I’m looking for a few people who would be interested in being part of my very first Stranger Sessions! 📸✨

So what exactly is a Stranger Session?

Two people who have never met are paired together for a photo session and we see what happens. No existing relationship, no expectations, just two strangers meeting for the first time, having some fun, and letting me capture the connection that naturally happens.

It could be funny. It could be awkward. It could be completely unexpected. And honestly… that’s kind of the point. 😂

I think this could be such a fun way to create something completely different from a traditional photography session, and I’d love to find a few people who are willing to step outside their comfort zone and try it with me. 🖤

I realized recently that not many people actually know the real me behind this page. 😂

Photography has been something I’ve loved for a long time but turning that love into a business has been a completely different experience. Jenna Marie Photography officially became a business in March, and I’ve spent the last few months figuring out everything that goes into building one.

I’m actually a pretty quiet person, and putting myself out there has always been a little bit of a challenge for me. But I love stepping into someone’s world for a little while and capturing the moments that matter to them. I love the relationships, personalities, and little things that make every family different. 🤍

Somehow, I'm already coming up on six months since I officially started this business, and I’m really proud of how much I’ve learned and grown along the way.
