I used to focus on taking a ‘good picture.’
Now I focus on creating a feeling. ✨

The first image was taken when I was learning my camera, learning poses, learning editing — honestly just learning how to be a photographer.

The second image is where intention started showing up.

Instead of just placing people in front of a background, I started thinking about:
• emotion
• connection
• lighting
• movement
• storytelling
• mood

And that changed everything.

Growth as a photographer isn’t always about having better equipment. Sometimes it’s about slowing down enough to develop your eye, your style, and your confidence.

Looking at these side by side reminds me how far TSloan Photography has come — and how much more room there still is to grow. 🤍

To every single person who has trusted me in front of my camera through every stage of this journey… thank you. Whether you booked me when I was just starting out or you’re finding my work now, you’ve helped shape this dream into something real.

I’m not here for stiff poses or perfect magazine moments. I’m here for the giggles, the forehead kisses, the belly laughs, the wind-blown hair, the happy tears, and the moments that feel like you. The kind of photos that make you stop scrolling and feel something years later.
