🖤 GIVING SUNDAY | More Than Photography

When we started TSloan Photography, we wanted to create something meaningful. Something that went beyond pretty pictures, galleries, and booked calendars.

We wanted to build something with purpose.

And today, we’re taking a step toward doing exactly that.

We’re excited to announce that TSloan Photography will begin giving 10% of every session to our church home and another 10% to a local charity or nonprofit organization. 🖤

Because we believe the blessings we receive aren’t meant to stop with us.

They’re meant to be shared.

This community has supported our little business, trusted us with precious memories, shared our work, and helped us grow in ways we never imagined.

And now, we want to give some of that love right back.

But we need YOUR help!

We want to discover local charities, nonprofits, and organizations doing incredible things right here in Northwest Arkansas.

Whether they’re helping families, supporting children, rescuing animals, or simply making someone’s hardest days a little easier, we want to hear about them.

Let’s talk about things you can ABSOLUTELY bring to your photography session.

🐾 Your pets? Obviously.

💐 Flowers, books, or sentimental keepsakes? Yes.

☕ Your favorite coffee, snacks, or drinks? Bring ’em.

🎸 Your guitar, motorcycle, or something that screams YOU? Even better.

🖤 Your unconventional ideas, questionable humor, and slightly unhinged personality? PLEASE.

Your session doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s.

You don’t have to show up in matching beige outfits, stand in a field, and pretend that’s your entire personality.

Want romantic and cinematic? Let’s do it.

Who told you that you needed a reason to have your picture taken?

You don’t need a ring on your finger.
You don’t need a baby on the way.
You don’t need to lose those last 20 pounds.
You don’t need a birthday, an anniversary, or some big life-changing milestone.

You are reason enough.

Book the session. Wear the outfit. Run barefoot through the grass. Kiss your person. Bring your babies. Be unapologetically yourself.

THEN: I thought mini sessions were just quick, affordable photoshoots.

NOW: I realize just how much goes into creating an experience in those 15–30 minutes.

From scouting locations and renting venues to planning setups, coordinating schedules, and making sure every family gets their own special moments — there’s so much happening behind the scenes before I ever pick up my camera.

And here’s something I’ve learned along the way:

Just because a session is mini doesn’t mean the experience should be.

When I rent a venue, I’m not just paying for a pretty backdrop. I’m creating an opportunity for my clients to have something a little different, something memorable, and something worth looking back on.

Because whether you book me for 15 minutes or an entire afternoon, you deserve the same love, creativity, and attention to detail.

There are some things I absolutely REFUSE to do as your photographer. Not because I’m trying to be different, but because I genuinely believe you deserve better.

I’m not here to collect your money, snap a few pictures, and send you on your way.

I’m here for the messy moments, the belly laughs, the awkward giggles, the genuine connections, and the memories you don’t even realize you’re making.

And listen, I know I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. That’s okay. 🖤

To every single family who showed up for our Christmas Minis today, THANK YOU! 🎄✨

We absolutely loved getting to spend time with each of you, loving on your littles, bribing with toys, sharing laughs, and capturing a little piece of your family’s story.
