Am I heartbroken that my friend is moving away from me? YES! But am I THRILLED with how everything aligned to get these gorgeous photos of her and her family before they leave? YES! This might be the most spectacular golden hour I've ever captured and it couldn't have happened to a more beautiful family

I've had SO many incredible shoots this season and I've been horrible at posting about them. I'll get caught up someday, I promise, lol. But this shoot just took my breath away. One of those shoots where afterward I said a prayer thanking God for His beautiful creations. Those mountains with the gradient of snow frosting the pines and fall leaves still on the trees. Those snow capped mountains and blue lake in the distance ... it very nearly had me in tears. I'm so grateful for my job and the beauty I get to try to capture. Also, this Alabama family ROCKED their shoot even in the chilly wind. They were so good and fun and easy :). And isn't mom's dress just gorgeous
