Photography is and always has been my passion and I specialize in photographing people whether they be at work, at rest or at play. JOURNEYS: Chasing Light in the Catskills is an exhibition of landscape photography and the stories behind the images, captured by photographer Jane Haslam and her hiking guide Moe Lemire, companions on a continuing series of hikes and overnight excursions through the peaks and valleys of the Catskill Mountains, begun in 2023. Jane’s images capture some of the region’s most dramatic vistas in different seasons, and the exhibition also features text describing the shared experience of artmaking and personal challenge.

The work is on show at the Pine Hill Community Center from 23rd August until 11th October. Pine Hill is conveniently close to Route 28, the Belleayre Ski Center and right in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. If you are planning a trip into The Catskills please call in. Better still why not mark you calendar and come along to the opening reception, I’d love to say hi to friends old and new.......
