Lately Iā€™ve had a ton of inquiries for weddings which I LOVEšŸ¤
I thought it would be the perfect time to talk about what to expect when going through the booking process with mešŸ„°

Usually the process begins one of two ways. Either brides reach out through dm and we chat about what to expect, what my pricing is, what the best hourly coverage for you would be. OR I receive a booking request through my website, in this case we skip the what to expect questions because I assume youā€™ve gotten those answers from my website. Both ways work great!

From there I set up a time for a consultation call and we chat all things about your wedding, what youā€™re wanting and expect, if you want add onā€™s, and schedule an engagement session!

After that consult call, I put all your notes in client info on my booking form. Iā€™ll then set up your contract and invoice and send those over to you via email. Once contract and retainer are signed and paid weā€™ve officially completed booking process and the date is yoursšŸŽ‰

I also like to do a final consultation call within a month of your wedding to finalize your timeline and make sure I have the perfect amount of time to capture everything we talked about!

Frequently asked questions I have are:

Can I do payments? - Yes of course! We can split those up however you like as long as full payment is paid 10 days before your wedding.

Do you prefer email or text? - I will send contract and invoice through email but as far as your questions and ideas, Iā€™d love for you to text me so I donā€™t miss those in my inbox and can get back to you more quickly!

When will we get our photoā€™s back? - I send 48 hour sneak peaks and have a full gallery turnaround time of 4-6 weeks!

Something very important to me is having clients that choose me for the work/experience I provide. I never want someone to choose me simply because I work in their budget. I would hate for someone to look back and say ā€œI wish we wouldā€™ve went with someone else.ā€ This to say if we go through the process and you choose to go a different direction after the first consultation call I will not be upset, I will wish you the best and send recommendations of other photographers! šŸ¤šŸ¤
