Just a reminder that we have a meeting May 13th at MOCA starting at 7:00 PM.

We will have a slide slam by new member Daniele Weinberger.

Also, we have the upcoming 2nd Annual Clovis Point Artwork Show which starts June 1st. Participating members must register for the show by May 24th to give Jeff time to compile the entries and generate placards for the images. We will have an evening artist's get-together at Clovis Point sometime during the show, that date will be announced in June.

Don't forget the current photography contest, which is due this coming Saturday. The contest, Geometry (Basic Adjustments) and Negative Space (Digital Enhancement), is bi-monthly, and images are due by Saturday night May 9th by midnight. Please note that for Basic Adjustments we have added Levels and Curves which have been added to the contest rules.

Hey Photogs! Just a reminder that we have a meeting next Wednesday, April 8th at MOCA starting at 7:00 PM.

We will have a slide slam by new member, a demo on Affinity editing software to demonstrate editing scanned negatives and we will discuss the upcoming art show in June at Clovis Point Winery. We will also go over the next contest, discuss field trips and have a demo on Datacolor SpyderX monitor calibration.

Our next contest, Geometry (Basic Adjustments) and Negative Space (Digital Enhancement), is bi-monthly and images are due by Saturday night, May 9th by midnight. Winners will be announced at our May meeting on May 13th.

Hope you all survived the winter so far, it's been brutal out there!

Just a reminder, we have a meeting on March 11th, it will be at the Pat-Med Library on Main Street, Patchogue. We will be meeting in the executive board room upstairs. There is an elevator at the front of the building that will take you to the second floor. If you need assistance, ask a library staff person to help.

Also, our bi-monthly contest will take place and we will be discussing a variety of subjects at the meeting. If you have anything you would like to cover, please let me know via return email.

The contest subjects are:
Basic Adjustments - Architecture
Digital Enhancement Allowed – Water (No AI)

Happy Holiday season, Photogs!

We will be having our annual holiday party/meeting and Slide Slam on December 10th at MOCA. Hopefully the heat will be working by then!!! The Slide Slam is open to any members, you can upload your favorite images either from this past year or any of your favorite images. CHECK YOUR EMAIL! Images can be uploaded on the RSVP form sent on 11/30/25.

Please, please, please respond whether you are attending or not! We need an accurate count in order to order food, which will be catered. Members are encouraged to bring along appetizers and/or desserts. If you have a favorite beverage, you are welcome to bring that as well. RSVP is in the email! Please let us know if you have any questions.
