Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, we trudged to a Christmas tree farm 20 miles away, but seemed to take hours🤪 and cut down our Christmas tree every year.
I loved it.
The smell of the freshly cut wood.
The tree shaker.
The warm drinks while we admired our beautiful tree we, of course took turns sawing.

I continued the tradition with my kids and absolutely love that we have a tree farm so close to us 🌲
