I truly believe seniors get less photo shoot jitters when everything is planned out properly. I’m here to break down the planning we do to prepare for your senior session.

Reasons to hire a 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐄𝐑 👇🏻

📸 IMAGE QUALITY:
Pro photographers will have the best equipment to ensure high-quality images that you can print.

🏆POSING:
Ever been in front of the camera and then have no clue what to do? It’s the photographer’s job to pose you! Photographers will know exactly how to pose you to help you look your best.

💻 RETOUCHING:
Pro photographers oftentimes retouch their images. Skin retouching removes all blemishes, removes under-eye circles, fixes smudged makeup, etc. And if you had a breakout the day of your session, no problem!!

📑 ACCESS TO A VARIETY OF LOCATIONS:
Since photographers are constantly shooting, they are continuously finding new shoot locations. I offer my seniors access to a virtual Location Guide that features all of my favorite Tri-Cities photoshoot locations.

📲 PRO ADVICE:
Find a photographer who shares the same style of communication as you and that you feel comfortable with. Photographers can give you great advice on what outfit colors look good in certain locations, where the best location spots are, creative ideas for your session, and more.

MY 𝑬𝑫𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑪𝑬𝑺𝑺 👇🏻

I always make sure to spend as much time necessary to edit your senior gallery to PERFECTION! 🤌🏻 This means it can take up to a 4 week turnaround time to have your final images delivered to you… trust me I’m SUPER impatient to get them back to you. But I also want to make sure I’m delivering the best quality images that you will absolutely love for years to come. ✨

𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 + 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞:

📸 After your senior session I go home and immediately backup all of your images.

💻 In the next 1-2 days: I start culling your gallery for all of the best photos that we took together.

⌨️ In the next week: I color-grade all of your photos in Lightroom. I’ll adjust lighting, colors, hues, and make other small adjustments in this step.

📲 Within a day of me finishing the color-grading: I send off your proof gallery to you to make your final selects for your senior photos!! Yes, you read that right!! You get to choose your own photos.

💻 In the following 1-2 weeks: I edit all of your photos again in Photoshop. This time I’m making final adjustments to colors, hues, lighting, skin-tones, contrast, etc. and retouching your skin. Your photos will always be returned to you naturally retouched.

📲 And finally after a maximum turnaround time of 4 weeks, you’ll have your images in your email delivered in a password protected digital gallery! 😍

High school goes by so so quickly. As cliché as that saying sounds… it’s true. Get good grades, go to class, but also be involved as much as possible your senior year!

I graduated high school in 2018. I remember being so nervous to start high school - and the next moment I was walking for graduation. Take all the opportunities possible to be involved in your high school even if they sound silly. 🤍 You won’t regret the memories that you make.

I accidentally found this incredible wall a few years back while shooting. It remains one of my favorite spots for seniors looking to add a pop of color to their sessions! 🤍🤩 Sometimes the coolest spots are right in front of us.

It’s so important to me to stand up for equality and LGBTQ+ rights to allow all people the chance to love who they love and be their best-selves.

I always want my seniors to feel like they have a safe place on our shoots to be wholeheartedly themselves.
