5-minute solo portrait sessions.
Yes, FIVE minutes.

And before you say, “Tracey, there is no way five minutes is enough time,” I promise you — it absolutely is.

These quick sessions are perfect if you need updated photos of yourself, a fresh headshot, a confidence boost, or even a fun gift for someone you love who deserves to feel good in front of the camera.

Here’s how it works:

You’ll come to a studio in Edgewater, Maryland wearing an outfit you feel good in. Come with hair and makeup already done, or I can send you referrals if you want help getting camera-ready.

When you arrive, I’ll help you choose your backdrop, guide you through posing, fix the little details, and make sure you don’t feel awkward wondering what to do with your hands.

In just 5 minutes, we’ll take around 50–100 images.

After your session, you head out and I’ll send your proofing gallery within 24 hours. From there, you’ll have 2 days to choose the 3 images included with your session.

Love them all? You’ll have the option to upgrade to the full gallery, which includes around 15–25 edited images, for only $250 more.

That’s it. Quick, fun, easy, and way less stressful than overthinking a full session.

Memorial Day always brings a quieter kind of reflection for me.

Beyond the cookouts and long weekend, it’s a day that reminds us how fragile and valuable life really is. How quickly time moves. How important it is to love people deeply while we have the chance.

Some people are carrying gratitude today.
Some are carrying grief.
Some are carrying both.

And I think that’s worth honoring.

One thing photography has taught me is this: moments matter more than we realize while we’re living them. The people we love, the laughter, the small in-between moments we think we’ll always remember… those are the things that become priceless with time.

So today, I’m thinking about presence. About the people who shaped us. About the stories that continue long after someone is gone.

However you’re spending today, I hope you slow down long enough to appreciate the people around you and the moments that make life meaningful.

And to those remembering someone they’ve lost — I’m holding space for you today too. ❤️

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, I’ve been thinking a lot about how quickly life moves.

How easy it is to believe there will always be more time. More conversations. More photos. More moments.

This weekend will be filled with beach trips, cookouts, laughter, and people gathering with the ones they love. And I hope somewhere in all of that, we also slow down long enough to appreciate how valuable those moments really are.

Not every memory gets a warning before it becomes important.

So take the photos. Get in the frame. Hug your people a little longer. Say the thing you’ve been meaning to say.

And while we enjoy the long weekend, I also want to acknowledge the deeper meaning behind Memorial Day — honoring and remembering the lives that were lost in service to this country and the families who continue carrying that loss every day.

Life is fragile. Presence matters. The people we love matter.

I hope you all have a safe, meaningful weekend. ❤️

These 20-minute outdoor sessions at Downs Park were created to be simple, easy to say yes to, and actually feel like you — not something stiff or overly posed.
