I prefer a more 'organic' approach to photography, and while I am happy to pose people, I do prefer capturing the moment as it happens. Hi friends! It's with a grateful heart that I announce the end of my adventures in photography and the beginning of new adventures.

I am so appreciative of the trust you've put in me over the years. I've met so many cool people and made lots of good friends. I've captured moments, watched your babies grow, and witnessed a lot of love. You allowed me to learn and grow as a person and a photographer. I am eternally grateful.

I'll be removing this page in a few months, but I couldn't go without wishing you well and saying THANK YOU. This is very bittersweet for me, but there are big things calling, and I must go.

You know it's going to be a great photo day, when you get THIS with the FIRST click of the button! I'm always happy to see April and Amber--and their beautiful families--but today I got grandparents too. SO FUN!

These kids always bring the personality. I'm so lucky to get to have repeat "photo friends" because I get to see how the kids grow and change. It's one of the best parts of this adventure.

Yesterday presented the perfect morning to meet this beautiful family at Patapsco Nature Park. Not gonna lie—got a teensy bit lost getting there, BUT it was all worthwhile to get to spend time with Lyndy, Hugo, and their baby boy. I’m so honored to call Lyndy my friend, and I’m grateful she gave me the chance to capture some memories for her. Looking forward to seeing this cutie grow up. ❤️

Last week, I had the honor of photographing these as they exchanged vows at the Main Street Ballroom in Ellicott City. It was a beautiful ceremony, filled with love, personality, and true appreciation for what it means to find your person. I'm so grateful to know Jeremy and Bobby--and their families. I'm so thankful to have been able to be there for this, to have been invited to share their joy. This event was everything a wedding should be, as it truly reflected who they are and what's important to them. Every detail was perfect (thanks to Charlotte and the couples' lovely family members who helped set up). I know they wished more of their friends could have been there in person, but I also know that lots of people were watching via fancy *livestream* and wishing them the very best in their life together.

I was walking through Sam's Club when Sarah sent me a text to tell me her daughter was here. And I ugly-cried. Yep. In the middle of Sam's. I'm sure people passing me thought I'd gotten bad news, but it was the BEST news...for the BEST people. World, meet Amelia! Isn't she beautiful?!?! She reminds me that even during dark times, there is good. Real, spontaneous, glorious GOOD. Welcome to earthside, baby. Lots of people are so happy to see you.

Waaaayyyyy back in 2018, I met this fantastic family at Down's Park for a quick family sesh, and I fell head over heels for little Delaney. In fact, one of my favorite photos from that day ended up being a cover photo for my page for quite some time. Fast forward two and a half years to early 2021, and there is another little person who's joined their family. TJ has recently turned ONE. He's as cute as can be and showed up for his photoshoot with ALL the smiles.

PS Photos are totally possible during Covid, and I can work within all of our comfort levels. Cameras have long lenses. Just putting that out there for ya.

It always surprises me that everyone wants FALL photos, but no one ever chooses photos to embrace the BEAUTY of winter (mismatched hats and gloves, snow boots, rosy cheeks, MAYBE even SNOW!). Winter is a quiet time for me in terms of photography, but I wish there were a bunch of brave people who, like Elsa, would happily proclaim, "The cold never bothered me anyway!"

Check out Matt and Amber enjoying the snow and cold just before their move to Hawaii. WINTER photos are COOL (literally)!

PS I will even discount the darn session just to get you all out there in your hats and gloves!

This session has been rescheduled a dozen times because of weather and various challenges, but I was so happy to finally get to see the Smiths. And even though it was super cold, they were still in good spirits, as usual. I think I've been photographing them for 4 years, and they've introduced me to so many nice people. I'm so grateful that they believe in me!
