Pulling away with a deadly kick down the backstretch to win by nearly half a second, Labette County's Jamaal Jackson wins the Class 4A Boys 400m Dash state title.

Jackson finished the race in 49.13 seconds.

This is Jackson's second state title in his career and serves as a fitting conclusion to a decorated career while also affirming a comeback from a knee injury that cost him his senior football season.

Ayanna Robertson of Parsons, with a leap of 37-8, wins the Class 4A Girls Triple Jump state title.

Robertson won by 10.5 inches and set a new PR with the mark. She's the second Parsons athlete to win a state title at the 2026 KSHSAA State Track and Field Championships.
