There is such a short window each spring when everything feels soft again. The blossoms start to bloom, the air finally warms, and suddenly it feels like the perfect time to pause for a moment and hold onto this season just a little longer.

Every year I try to reserve one date during peak cherry blossoms, because it truly is one of the most beautiful backdrops we get all year. This year, I was able to secure two spring dates, one at the Cleveland Museum of Art during peak bloom, and one at Schoepfle Gardens surrounded by the flower beds just as everything begins to come to life again.

These Spring Keepsake Sessions are short, relaxed, and designed for families who want updated portraits without committing to a full session, but still want the same soft, timeless look.

Only six spots are available for each date, and booking for the April 11 cherry blossom sessions will close soon so families have time to prepare.

I’ll be hosting Cleveland Spring Mini Sessions on April 11th at the Cleveland Museum of Art during peak cherry blossoms and May 2nd at Schoepfle Gardens during high flower bloom. These sessions are designed for families who want timeless, light-filled portraits in a setting that feels effortless, relaxed, and beautifully seasonal.

There is a small window each spring when everything feels a little softer. The blossoms appear, the air warms, and suddenly you realize how quickly another season of life has passed.

Your child looks older than they did last year. They hold your hand differently. They laugh a little louder, run a little faster, and somehow feel both bigger and smaller at the same time.

Spring Keepsake Sessions are one of my favorite ways to preserve this stage before it changes again. This year, I planned these dates intentionally around peak bloom so your portraits are surrounded by the beauty of the season.

April 11 | Cherry Blossom Portraits at the Cleveland Museum of Art
Held during the short window when the cherry blossoms are at their fullest, creating the soft pink backdrop that only lasts a few days each year.

May 2 | Garden Portraits at Schoepfle Gardens
Filled with blooming flowers, fresh greenery, and the kind of peaceful spring setting that feels timeless in photographs.

These sessions are short, relaxed, and guided the entire time, so all you need to do is show up ready to love on your family while I take care of the rest.

Only six families are photographed on each date so that every session feels calm, personal, and unhurried.

There is a softness to the newborn days that can’t be recreated. The way time slows without asking. The way your world narrows to this tiny person in your arms. It’s tender and exhausting and beautiful all at once. And one day, you’ll miss it more than you can imagine.

Before the babies, and right alongside them. Faithful, gentle, and woven into the everyday moments that make a family feel complete. This is love, in its simplest form. 🐾

My boys are on the countdown until we can bring a furry family member home with us. Every time it felt like a good time, someone needed potty training, we were going to be leaving on a big trip or I ended up pregnant. 😅 Fingers crossed, this summer we get to make that commitment.
