As they say, all good things must come to an end….

Over the past nine years I have had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of beautiful people and have had the opportunity to participate in some of life’s most beautiful moments. I have had the best seats in the house to engagements, births, weddings, and a multitude of other milestones. It has been an incredible journey that has taught me so much, but the time has come for me to hang up my camera.

At the end of last year, I accepted a new position at my job which I started in February of 2022. I’ve taken time off from my business to adjust to the new demands of my job and, over the past several months, it has become clear that I do not have the ability to juggle both jobs any longer. I am not able to keep up with the demands of the business and the last thing I want is for my clients to suffer as a result of that. I’ve worked so hard, for so long and I need to make sure that I am allowing myself time to enjoy the life that I’ve built. This business has never been about the money for me; it’s always been about making people happy by capturing moments that they can hold onto forever. I’ve been so focused on that goal that I forgot that I also need to make my own memories and take the time I need to find my own happiness.

I will continue to follow through with my current bookings through the remainder of the year, but I will not be accepting any additional bookings moving forward. If you have a session or wedding scheduled with me, I am still committed to following through with those bookings. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. I will also continue to accept bookings from anyone with a gift card through next Summer, so please reach out to book if you have a gift card.

I won’t be completely out of the game. I’ll still be around! I have many clients that have been with me for years, so I’m more than open to making surprise appearances to capture important moments when I’m able to. I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for allowing me to be a part of your lives and allowing me to help fill your walls with beautiful images to cherish for a lifetime. I never expected this to grow the way that it has but I am so grateful that it did. Photography has always been a source of joy for me and it will continue to be so. I know that I’m walking away from something that I will truly miss, but I cannot ignore the weight that I feel lifting as I do. This only tells me that I’m doing the right thing for me and that gives me peace.

And that’s a wrap on the Christmas Baking mini sessions! These were so cute and I can’t wait for everyone to share their images! As a reminder, I don’t post any Christmas photo sneak peeks because I don’t want to ruin any Christmas surprises!

Saturday 12/11 will be my last day of Christmas minis! This will be my Night Before Christmas set up, featuring a decorated bed for fun pajama photos! Kids can bring any books, special stuffed animals, and/or comfort items that they’d like! These were such a hit last time we did them!

Saturday 12/11- Chhristmas PJ Session- Can accomodate small families and children.

There will be an alternate backdrop each day for headshots. You are permitted to bring a second outfit for that backdrop if needed. Samples of all sets can be found below.

After the 11th I will be going on vacation until the end of March/April when the weather warms up, so this is your last opportunity for Christmas minis.

Christmas Mini Sessions- $50.00 per session

12/5- Inside "Baking" Sessions- These sessions are for children and families (parents and children), they are not ideal for large groups. The sessions will be held on Adelaide St. in Parksley and will feature a Christmas kitchen backdrop with a cookie baking theme. It is a sitting session, so there would not be full-length photos. There will be a small, alternate backdrop available for close-up photos. 20 minute session with 15 edited digital images delivered within 5-7 days.

12/11- Inside "PJ" Sessions- These sessions are predominantly for children, but smaller adults may be able to be accomodated. These sessions will be held on Adelaide St. in Parksley and will feature a Christmas themed bed that is perfect for pajama photos! It is a sitting session. There will be a small, alternate backdrop available for close-up photos. 20 minute session with 15 edited digital images delivered within 5-7 days.

Scott | Wedding

I had so much fun shooting this perfect little country wedding! Even though mother nature decided to add a little spice, the entire event was perfect from start to finish! Surrounded by their family and friends, Kevin and Danielle exchanged very personal, touching vows that left us all a little misty. The special little touches that this couple added to their special day made their rustic barn wedding such a beautiful experience. There was so much love surrounding this couple that it was palpable the entire night! I wish you both never ending years of love and happiness. Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
