The holidays, Palm Beach style.

This year I thought, lets create holiday sessions that trade the traditional red and green for coral, sage, and gold velvet bows, a citrus tree, and all the charm of a real South Florida Holiday. Instead of being sad our holidays don't look like a Hallmark card in the snow, I figured why not lean into what we have to offer here in Florida.

How lucky am I that I get to photograph a family as it grows. 🤍

I first met this beautiful mama 3½ years ago at her maternity session when she was expecting twins. I photographed those two as newborns and throughout their first year, and now they’re big siblings to baby number three!

Getting to have this family back into my studio and photograph this newest little addition was awesome. Seeing big brother and big sister again and watching them with their new baby brother was the best. These simple mom and baby portraits will forever be some of my favorites from a newborn session. No elaborate setup needed, just a brand-new baby exactly where they belong.

That sweet newborn smile! Yes, I absolutely squealed when my camera was in place and ready to grab this smile. It is not a frequent moment to grab so when I do it is GOLD 🤍

This handsome baby boy came from Boca Raton for his newborn photoshoot at my Coral Springs studio, where we created an gallery neutral images designed to keep the focus on his perfect little features and that adorable smile. Big brother got in on the action too!

Newborn photography sessions are best reserved during the second trimester of pregnancy and typically take place within baby’s first two weeks. My South Florida newborn studio provides everything needed for the session, including wraps, props and carefully chosen neutral styling, so new parents can simply arrive, relax and enjoy the experience.

I will never get sick of two, no three, no four (oh heck, I don’t know how many!) poses in my sessions but baby cuddling a soft toy is totally on the list! These cuddles add an extra touch of sweetness to my newborn sessions.

Every newborn photography session in my Coral Springs studio is styled especially for your baby, with soft textures, soft tones and sweet little details like this tiny mouse friend. My studio is stocked with wraps, outfits and props, so parents don’t need to bring a thing unless they have something meaningful they would like included.

It has been super fun here in the studio, with lots of sitter sessions and sweet little personalities making me smile!

The sitting-up stage is one of my absolute favorite ages to photograph. Babies are full of expressions, curiosity and the cutest little mannerisms but they usually aren’t crawling away from me just yet! I cannot get over this handsome little guy holding onto his foot. Those tiny toes, bright blue eyes and sweet expression are just ADORABLE!!!

Sitter milestone sessions are typically photographed when baby is around 6–9 months old and sitting independently. It is such a special time to capture before they move on to their next big milestone.

Why do I love adding simple toys to sitter milestone sessions?

Because babies this age are naturally curious, busy and ready to explore. A simple toy gives those little hands something to do, helps babies relax and brings out genuine expressions that cannot be forced.

It also allows me to photograph more than a traditional portrait. I can capture the concentration, tiny fingers, chubby toes and emerging personality that make this stage so special. Things mom does not want to forget.

I make sure they complement the photographs without distracting from the real focus: your baby.

Sitter milestone sessions are typically photographed once baby is sitting confidently on their own, usually between six and nine months. It is such a sweet, fun stage to document before they are crawling away from us! There is a bit of a workout involved for me and parents at these sessions but they are so FUN!

Um.. do I get the most beautiful babies or what?! This handsome nugget is one year old and on the go!

Our One Year session was all about keeping it simple and letting him be the star. No cake, no “theme” just beautiful, classic portraits that capture exactly who he is right now. I mean with those big blue eyes and that perfect little curl? How could we need anything more?

Giggles, chaos, hugs, and all the love in between. This is what family photography is to me. We had the absolute best time at this Deerfield Beach family session and I am still smiling. Little brothers being goofy, mom soaking up every mandatory kiss, searching for butterflies and in between all of it. It is my kind of magic.
