After my husband and I eloped in lieu of having a wedding, I loved the experience so much that I thought I’d like to officiate weddings one day. I wanted to have a side business to help my photography business during the down seasons. I officiated my first wedding when I turned a portion of my photography studio into a wedding chapel June 2018. I didn’t expect this “side service” to become my full
-time passion. After officiating my first wedding, I was hooked. Mid-Ohio Valley Wedding Officiants is now a full-time business. Since then, I have fully immersed myself into the wedding industry. I have a home-based office outside of Belpre, OH. I offer a pre- and post-marriage assessment to couples that will give important insight to help couples create life-long love. It's the highly-rated and successful SYMBIS assessment. I graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Arts in English. My background is in counseling, as well as a 17-year teaching career in English, literature, and public speaking. Currently, I operate Mid-Ohio Valley Wedding Officiants full time and teach English as a Second Language to students in China and Hong Kong. You can check out some of my work at deblorentsphoto.com.
