The historic Riverside Cemetery near Denver was first opened in 1876 when Colorado was just a territory. In it's heyday this was the prime spot for the local elite to rest eternally, but sadly it has been sliding into a burial oblivion. As I toured around with my camera, I was the only one there, the sky was overcast and I could hear the wind rustling through dried leaves near century old grave stones and tombs. A great way to get in the mood for upcoming Halloween!
