This one is for the moms 🩶

The ones who blinked and somehow went from holding their little boy in their arms to holding a young man who’s about to take on the world. The ones who still see that little boy even when everyone else sees a senior.

There’s something about this hug. Her eyes closed holding on just a little tighter.. because for a moment, he’s not a senior, he’s not almost grown… he’s just her little boy. 😭

I think that this is the part of senior photos that gets me the most. We’re celebrating everything that’s ahead for them while quietly holding space for everything that’s behind us.

I always make my seniors take a picture with their mom because someday that picture will mean the world to them.
