I’m working at a resort this week to help them with content and marketing. Yesterday’s sunrise was so, so incredible. I went out to shoot it and was a little nervous I wasn’t getting the fog like I wanted. But when I popped it into the computer I about melted. Then I heard the sound of the waves and the owl and other birds and I just freaked. out.

This place is so beautiful… they don’t have an Instagram (yet), but you NEED to check out Half Moon Trail Resort in northern Minnesota.

Tomorrow is the last day to get in on this awesome deal! ☺️ Your session needs to be booked before 8/15, and your contract and retainer due by end of day tomorrow (7/20).

Well, that escalated quickly.

I opened this up as a senior sale, but someone reached out asking if the deal could apply to other sessions too. So I thought, why not?

Here's the updated deal:
All portrait sessions: 10% off.

* Book by July 20
* Session by August 15
* Applies to 1-hour, 1.5-hour, and 2-hour portrait sessions
* Weddings and studio sessions not included

And here's the fun part. It doesn't have to be a "regular" portrait session.

Sure, we can absolutely do that. But what if we did something a little different?

- An hour in the backyard, running through the sprinkler and grilling
- An hour on the boat
- Crafting and playing with the kiddos in the dining room
- Going out for pizza
- A morning at the farmer's market
- The whole family piled on the porch, drinking coffee
- Grandma's kitchen, while she's making the recipe nobody's written down

The sky is the limit. If it's a piece of your real life you want to remember, that's the whole point.

The next round of 15-minute sessions at Preacher's Grove is this next Friday, July 3rd! Come get some updated family photos in one of the prettiest spots in Itasca State Park.

Your session includes:
- A 15-minute session with Jenny
- All edited images (50+) delivered via an online gallery within four weeks
- A print release to download and print your images wherever you please
- The option to order prints directly through your gallery (super handy for relatives!)

“Wait, you can choose film?”

Yes. And it’s one of my favorite questions to have people answer when they inquire to book.

Film is soft, grainy, a little more forgiving, and it has this quality that’s hard to name [people usually call it “timeless” because they don’t have a better word].

It holds light like a memory instead of a moment. The gallery in this reel? All film. This is what it feels like.
