These two are just the sweetest 🤍

After spending almost an hour together for their engagement session, we somehow ended up standing around for almost another hour afterward just talking like old friends catching up. 🥹 That alone tells me their wedding day is going to be such a good one.

I’m already SO excited to celebrate these two and make even more magic happen on their special day. ✨🤍

At this point, y’all might as well just label me the official surprise proposal photographer of the area. 😂💍

They’ve been back-to-back-to-back lately, and I have been LOVING every single one of them. 🥹🤍 Every proposal has been completely different, completely them, and getting to secretly start each of these sessions knowing that it will be ending as one of the biggest moments in a couple’s story will never get old.

Andddddd… if you scroll over and notice that I officially jumped on the blurry photo bandwagon… just know that she specifically requested it. 😂 For those who know me… you KNOW. Taking an intentionally blurry photo may have physically pained me a little bit, but I survived.

And low-key?…I’m actually pretty obsessed with it 👀🤍

They wanted a “trash the dress” session… but in their own unique way. And I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. 🥹🤍

One of my favorite things about this family (and I have a lot of favorites) is how intentional they are about embracing the age and stage their kiddos are in right now. They don’t try to force perfection. They make their sessions FUN, let the kids be kids, and choose ideas that feel like them.

And of course, while everyone was dressed and looking this cute, we had to sneak in a little family mini too. 😉📸

Safe to say… I wouldn’t mind a few more “trash the dress” sessions like this one. 😍

And the post so many have been waiting for… 😉

Instead of a couple sneak peeks, I decided to do a handful…
Well, two handfuls…
Okay, actually, even more than that. 😂
Because HOW could I not overshare from the most perfect day ever?!

This entire day was truly surrounded by so. much. love.
The love from his family. The love from her family. The love from their wedding party. The love from every single guest (and there were A LOT of them 😂). And most importantly, the love shared between the two of them.

THIS is what a wedding day is supposed to feel like. 🤍

From beginning to end, I absolutely loved getting to spend the entire day with these two and all of the people who love them most. Every little detail, every laugh, every tear, every hug, every packed dance floor moment… it was just GOOD.

Now, did we have a mild freak-out when we saw that storm rolling in? Absolutely 😂

But it didn’t rain on this parade... well, it did.. but, you know what I mean ⛈️😉

And somehow, the day turned out every bit as beautiful as it was meant to be.
So yes… I’m oversharing. And no, I’m not sorry about it. 😂🤍

What started as a family session ended with the BEST little surprise. 🥹💍

We already had this sweet family session on the books, but at the very end, he had one more photo in mind… getting down on one knee and asking Allie to marry him, surrounded by the people she loves most. 🤍

And the funniest part? Allie has been talking and planning for this moment for YEARS. 😂 So getting to watch it finally happen as a SURPRISE and knowing I got to be the one behind the camera capturing it for her, made it that much sweeter 💍

People always ask me what color backdrop I recommend for headshots, and 99% of the time, my answer is this dark gray. 🩶

There’s just something about it. It’s clean, timeless, professional, and adds the perfect amount of depth without taking any attention away from the person in front of the camera.

No matter the profession, age, outfit, or overall vibe you’re going for, this backdrop just WORKS. 👏🏼

If you’re updating your headshots and have no clue what backdrop to choose… trust your photographer when she tells you dark gray. Always dark gray. 😉📸

Okay but THIS is hands down one of the worst parts about photographing real estate… because WHY do I leave these shoots wanting to buy the house?! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

And this one?! 😍 Absolutely GORGEOUS. The property, the views, the house, the sunset… ALL. OF. IT. I was basically mentally moving myself in while I was taking the photos. 😂

If you’re in the market, you’re definitely going to want to keep your eyes peeled for this one! 👀🏡
