Furst Edition Photography

Professional photographer from West TN/KY focusing on portraits, sports, travel photography, and photojournalism.

Photographer for Myracenews.com, as well as contributing photographer for Cal Sport Media and ZUMA Press. Furst Edition Photography came to be in 2012 with the love of photographing the high speed action of motor sports, aviation, and airshows. When there were no cars or jets zooming by at high speeds attention was turned to scenic landscapes and people. And now, over 20 years later, I look through my viewfinder at many different subjects. Currently my main focus is portraits and sports (motorsports included). I am diving deeper into travel photography and landscapes, with a touch of photojournalism on the side. I shoot a lot for Murray State and recently (Feb 2026) became a contributing photographer for both Cal Sport Media and ZUMA Press.

Nashville SC vs CF Monterrey at Geodis Park Weds August 12, 2026. Not the results NSC wanted, but it was still an excellent match to shoot with some good action.

Another great night doing what I love. Nashville SC grabbed a statement making 4-1 win over Atletico de San Luis in Leagues Cup action at Geodis Park in Nashville, TN on a beautiful Sunday evening. After dropping their first match against Club Leon last Wednesday, they showed that they may be down, but not out (not yet anyway).

Now booking through the end of December for class of 2027 senior portraits!

I may not be the cheapest photographer around but I stand behind my promise to meet your expectations and deliver what you spend your hard earned money on.

Sure someone may do it cheaper, but do they have knowledge of how to light a scene? How long have they been using a camera? Will they take your own ideas for your photos into consideration?

I bring over 15 years of experience to your session and I will listen to your wants and needs for your photos.

Visit www.fursteditionphotography.com to book your session today!

Hot nights in Nashville means excitement! From players getting fans hyped, to fans getting fans hyped, to fans running onto the pitch to take a selfie with their favorite player during the match, there was plenty of excitement to go around.

Nashville SC vs LAFC last night (5/17/2026) at Geodis Park in Nashville, TN.

I know I've been a little quiet with posting lately, but I've been busy with family vacation as well as shooting some professional sports events. I'll be back to normal very shortly.

After next weekend I'll be opening up my availability for summer and fall portrait dates, so stay tuned for that.

To keep you all in the loop with me, coming up this month I have some grad photos this weekend, two more MLS Soccer matches in Nashville over the next couple weeks, as well as a NASCAR race weekend at the end of the month.

June is looking fairly quiet for now, with a few events in July before August portrait shoots lead to more in the fall along with football season.

Stay tuned yall! Going to be a fun next half of the year to follow along.

Some images from Saturday's match between Nashville SC and Charlotte FC at Geodis Park in Nashville, TN.

I figure it's about time I posted some random photos from the weekend's excursion down to Alabama to shoot some IndyCar action.

To be honest I found myself a bit overwhelmed with it being my first IndyCar event. I think I spent a good chunk of the weekend mainly in awe of where I was and I let that get in the way of being creative and seeking more angles to shoot from. Next year I'm definitely going to have a better game plan.

A few images from an incredible weekend covering the Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament “Arch Madness” in St Louis. There were some incredible games over the course of 4 days. I will definitely be covering this tournament again next year.

Back at it again today. Two games this afternoon. First up Drake vs UIC.
