On Memorial Day, we remember and honor the heroes who gave everything for our freedom ❤️🇺🇸

Today especially, I’m reminded that the freedom to celebrate milestones like graduation, chase dreams, and make memories with the people we love came at a cost.

Getting to step back behind the camera for sweet friends makes this whole “coming back” thing feel a little extra special ❤️

Jennifer reached out with a last-minute idea to grab a few quick senior photos downtown for Gavin and Bektur before graduation festivities and before Bektur heads home to Kyrgyzstan tomorrow.

And honestly… I don’t think he could have landed with a sweeter host family this year 🥹 The Lassiters welcomed him with open arms, and it’s been so special watching the memories and friendships made along the way. You can just tell this year meant something big to all of them ❤️

It has been a HOT minute since I’ve posted on this page, but getting to capture sweet moments like these reminded me why I loved this job so much in the first place!

Prom day schedules meant battling full 4pm Texas sunlight, wind, and mosquitoes 😂 …but Logan & Drake made it all look easy ❤️

These moments are always special, but senior year moments just hit a little different. We spent a few minutes at the ball field to commemorate part of Drake’s senior season before prom festivities began, and I’m so thankful I got to capture these memories for them.

And honestly… one of the sweetest parts of living in a small town is getting to photograph people you’ve known for years 🥹 both of these sweet faces have been in front of my camera at different seasons of life, I actually photographed Logan’s parents’ wedding many moons ago!… I’m honored to get to add this to the list ❤️

Be nice while I shake the rust off 😂
