Well friends, 13years of doing this and never have I had this issue of someone plagiarizing my work until now! Why are people becoming this way! I literally have worked for several companies, wedding companies, wedding officiants, other photographers, and even doing the COVER story of a magazine the whole entire last year and NEVER have I had this problem until NOW! I always give credit where credit is due and tag, share etc. That is part of it! You MUST give credit where credit is due or it is ILLEGAL! If you do not own the rights to someone's work via a copyright release etc, and have the original file to share, you can share the link via social media so that it is giving credit where credit is owed, otherwise you are straight saving and copying someone's work and committing fraud! That's why when I let all my clients know feel free to tag, share, use as profile, etc. That is to use off the link so that it is the original file that I loaded! So that it is not degraded and doesn't look like crap being screenshotted, or saved and resaved, etc. I have been so generous to people over the years of not watermarking images I put on here but apparently, I can't do that anymore as people will down right STEAL them and put their name on them and then repost to their page as if it's their business. But not even that, they are bad quality due to not having the original file and so they are super orange, etc. Sadly, this was a big community influencer/group leader and one of the big pages here locally. When asked to remove and take down, to correct the issue, no response. I will definitely not let this happen again as everything going forward will have to have LARGE watermarks on it sadly due to the nature of this person. Like I said I have never in 13 years had such a a problem and now this. Why are people the way they are?
