This morning on Shell Island, I came across these fresh turtle tracks leading from the Gulf up to the dunes. 🐢

It’s pretty amazing to think about the journey this mama turtle made in the dark, finding just the right spot to lay her eggs before heading back to the water. Moments like this are a good reminder of how wild and special this place really is.

Here’s to keeping our beaches clean, giving wildlife space, and letting nature do its thing. 🌊🐢🌴
