"The secret to that dreamy golden glow isn’t a preset. ✨

It’s timing + backlight. Put the sun BEHIND your family or to the side in the last hour before sunset, then expose for their skin, and let the background blow out soft. That’s the whole magic trick. once sun is set or about to set then switch and have them face towards the sun for blue hour.

My babies were growing too fast and I was so afraid of forgetting the small stuff — the chubby hands, the way they said my name wrong. Turns out I wasn’t the only mom terrified of forgetting. So now I freeze it for you too.

That’s the whole reason I do this. 💛

Some moments just stay with you. 🤍

A few years ago, this sweet couple booked me for their wedding in Key West. Shortly after they booked, my family unexpectedly moved away, so one of my incredible teammates photographed their wedding while I edited their gallery.

I always hoped I’d get the chance to meet them one day.

Fast forward … they came to Florida on a family vacation, drove over an hour just to have me photograph them, and I finally got to meet them in person. 🥹

We spent the evening running around the beach, laughing, chasing the sunset, and creating new memories together. They were my only session that night, and it honestly felt like catching up with old friends.

It’s hard to put into words what it means when people remember you, trust you, and go out of their way to come back years later. Moments like these are the reason I love what I do.
