Here it is…. Hope you like it.

I wish I had a good visibility under a blood moon. It was a bit cloudy from our area and capturing it is a little frustrating as far as resolution of the Blood Moon.

The Eclipse was the first of four consecutive total lunar ecplises, known as a "Tetrad", between April 2014 and September 2015. (note: One happened to be on my birthday :)

Today's full moon qualifies as a Blue Moon because it's the third full moon in a season with four (most seasons have only three).

There actually are times when the moon appears to be blue, but that tends to happen after a volcano erupts or after a major forest fire. Ash in the atmosphere can act as a blue filter.
