I say it a lot, especially lately, about how crazy it seems that all of these "kids" that I've known as babies and/or watched grow up, are on to their next chapters. It's a whole other level of crazy when they are now having their own babies. It's been a while since I photographed a "bump" session so it was a welcomed change of pace after my senior season. This photo session for Emily and Damian was postponed a couple times (because we had a wardrobe shipping delay and then an ouchie) and we had to get it done because Baby is due in less than a month! It was chilly and soggy (Mother Nature teased us with a little bit of snow that turned to a slushy, wet mess)- but how pretty is that little bit of white on the tree tops? Not as pretty as Emily and her dress! I'm so happy for the both of you and wish you well on this next chapter!

I LOVE senior photos, especially when I get to experience new locations and this was the second one in a day! Chloe is a senior at CCTI studying carpentry, which is super cool! I've never been to Hickory Run State Park before but this is where Chloe chose to go for her senior session. We started at this cute little chapel and ended up on the trail to seek out the waterfalls; this ROCKSTAR confidently hiked the entire way down and back up in her wedge sandals! (I was told it was about 1/2 mile, it took us 15-20 minutes to get there and she kept up a quick pace). Her energetic attitude was amazing, always saying "let's do it" when I'd have her pose on rocks, branches, or through the water...in those sandals. Thank you for taking me on this adventure, Chloe! Best of luck in all you do and enjoy your senior year!

Senior Spotlight! This shoot was incredibly fun because we had cool cars and a major change of scenery! Zane had the hookup having an Uncle and a Grandfather who are both car enthusiasts AND the means to shoot at a location not many people have access to...the good old Zinc Company, which by the way is like it's own little city back there! It was a welcomed change - not that I don't enjoy flowers, fences, fields and ponds - but the industrial, dirty, rusty old buildings, trains and mechanical structures were awesome to use as backdrops. Teenage boys are not always enthusiastic about taking photos, but Zane sure was a great sport - even when I asked him to remove his glasses:) Thank you Zane for spending a few hours with me for some photos (and thank you, Raquel!) Best of luck this year!

Braylin is one amazing chick, even at the age of 3 when I first met her! She goes to Liberty High School and was the manager of the football team for 4 years (for which her older brother played) so photos at the field were a must and man is she brave - she climbed a ladder to sit on the goal post - I couldn't watch. We ended her session around the corner to Illick's Mill/Monocacy Creek and ran out of light; a few weeks later we went to the Lehigh Gap Nature Center to shoot some more! It's always an adventure with Braylin and her family - (she also waded halfway into the Lehigh River before we made her turn around).
I'm honored to have taken these photos, in addition to the many other family shoots over the last 15 years! I wish you nothing but happiness and success!

Palmerton Soccer star and tennis player, Colton is in the spotlight! We went over to the Nature Center in the Lehigh Gap. I love when I get to partake in the senior photos of every sibling in a household; older sis, Colby, was class of 2018 and we shot her senior session in this same location (and mom mentioned a session with younger brother, Colson, next year 🤩, although a different location is in mind. ) We ended our Sunday evening up on the turf for a few photos (being blinded by the sun, but we did it!) Wishing you a happy, memorable, healthy senior year, Colton, and thank you!

Another senior session at Beltzville with Brady, and again - I've known his parents since high school. Not only was I honored to be asked to shoot Brady's senior session, but I also photographed his older brother, Chase's several years ago. Brady plays both basketball and baseball for Palmerton! Thank you for the opportunity to shoot your senior session, and again, it was great catching up with Tina and Gary! Best of luck!

Awww Miss Bella! I think the last time I had a session with Bella, she might have been 5 yrs old? Her momma and I had been friends since high school, and I've watched Bella grow up through Facebook posts but it's not until we met up again that reality sets in about how much time actually passed. Bella is a soccer star and was on Whitehall High School's Homecoming Court. She had chosen to have her shoot at Beltzville (and if you stay clear of the main beach area, it's actually pretty beautiful); we had to compete with a lot of daddy long-legs(🤮🕷) but also with local students eyeing up the covered bridge area because it was the night of multiple schools' Homecoming dances, but we were patient and finally got our turn to utilize that space. It was so nice to catch up:) Kick butt on the soccer field, Bella and I hope your senior year is as amazing as you are!

I remember when Amani was a year old (her momma and I having been working together at my day job ever since) and I say it all the time, but how is time flying by so fast?? And doesn't she have the best freckles! Amani is a senior at Catasauqua HS and has tried everything from dancing to cheering and yes, to wrestling! And we had to have adorable little sister, Milani, in a few photos too:) I hope you have an amazing senior year and thank you for allowing me to be a small part of it :)

Cassidy! This was my 3rd trip to Ballas Park; I've known Cassidy and her family forever - her brother wrestled with Jamo (and if you're part of the youth wrestling program, you know that you spend long Sundays in the gym together). Well, Cassidy has also been wrestling for the last few years too and she's artistically gifted as well (her whole family is!) I loved that she wanted to showcase her Bible as part of her session which was super special! Thank you for spending this particular Sunday evening with me and I can't wait too hear about your victories this year (especially on that wrestling mat!)

The camera loves Sonali! She is a senior at Southern Lehigh HS and happens to be great friends with Tessa, who I photographed last year for her senior photos. Sonali is on the swimming/diving team and she also plays the clarinet! Best of luck your senior year and thank you for the honor of photographing your senior photos!

I am wayyyyyy behind on posting my "senior outings" - because this was a little over a month ago! This shoot was sibling-seniors, and I didn't realize how challenging it would be for me to jump back and forth between the two, all the while racing against the sunset AND to go from "girl poses" to "boy poses" - (maybe it's just my brain that works this way?) We have Elizabeth, who simply is called "Liz", who plays volleyball and is naturally smily and happy to do a photo shoot; and then we have Alexander who is called "Zander" by his family, "Alex" by the Friday Night Lights commentators, and "Kip" by all his friends and he plays football and wrestles and I was told that he hates to smile and that would be another added challenge - but I did it, peep the candids...
Best of luck to the both of you and thank you for allowing me to photograph your senior photos - and for the challenge:)

We have another Senior Spotlight! Alisyn was first unsure of where we wanted to shoot her session but ultimately she chose Ballas Park in Wind Gap, which has so many "scenes" to work with! We did take a few with her field hockey stick (we weren't able to get onto the turf at this time) and some with a cap and gown (which I'll allow her to share). We had beautiful cloud-filtered skies, except for a few with that golden hour and ended with beautiful cotton candy clouds before the sun set! Perfect session! Alisyn - I hope you have a happy, healthy senior year! Thank you for allowing me to photograph your senior photos!
