Iā€™m back.

Iā€™m sure some of you noticed itā€™s been a bit quiet around here for a few weeks.

I lost my mother on August 13 at 10:18am. After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was diagnosed in November 2025 and put up one hell of a fight.

My mother was my biggest supporter from day one when I started this business. She was the first to like every photo of every client. She cheered me on from the sidelines. And told me that she wanted to have her own sessionā€¦ but she never got to.

I got back in the studio today and took some self portraits for the first time since her passing. And I think these would make her proud.

And I will honor her in the best way by honoring all of you.

Iā€™ve never seen a braver warriorā€¦

Mama, Iā€™m going to continue making you proud.

In stepping away from the noise, the expectations, the endless givingā€”and remembering that you deserve to be cared for, too.

Take the bath. Light the candle. Rest your body. Breathe a little deeper. Look at yourself with tenderness instead of criticism.

You donā€™t have to earn rest.
